Epic Application Analyst

Healthcare Application Support AnalystThis role involves providing system analysis and support for healthcare applications, primarily focusing on system design, build, testing, and ongoing maintenance. The position requires a candidate with a solid understanding of workflow processes and technical problem-solving skills to ensure optimal application performance. This is a technical position suited for individuals capable of working independently within a collaborative environment to improve system functionality and support end-users.Responsibilities:Develop, test, validate, and support assigned healthcare applications, ensuring alignment with functional workflows.Collaborate with team members and interdisciplinary stakeholders to review and develop future state workflows.Identify opportunities for system optimization and enhancements, working with vendors and internal teams to implement solutions.Conduct research and analysis to resolve complex system issues, proposing alternative solutions when necessary.Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, updates, and incident resolutions.Provide tier-2 support for application incidents reported via the help desk.Implement changes according to documented and compliant processes, adhering to departmental policies.Participate in training and certification processes, maintaining required certifications such as Epic modules.Engage with internal and external customers through face-to-face or remote interactions, fostering high-quality customer service.Travel as needed for Epic training sessions and to remote work locations.Qualifications:Minimum of one (1) year of related healthcare application support or analysis experience.Ability to obtain and maintain Epic certification in assigned application modules.Basic proficiency in computer skills and technical troubleshooting.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills suitable for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.Ability to work independently and efficiently meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment.High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.Publishing Pay Range: $70.00 – $85.00 hourlyThis is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.About GDH:At GDH, we believe in the power of people and the importance of caring.
