Prep Cook Job Description Position Summary Assist the Kitchen Manager in preparing nutritious meals for seniors, focusing on ingredient prep, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness. Key Responsibilities Follow food safety and sanitation protocols. Prepare ingredients and assist with cooking tasks. Maintain clean and organized prep areas. Support meal service setup and breakdown. Help manage inventory and supplies. Engage courteously with staff, community members, and volunteers. Required Skills & Qualifications Ability to follow directions and work well in a team. Basic kitchen equipment and food safety knowledge. Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods. Current Food Handlers card or ability to obtain.
