Alma Bank is currently looking to hire an experienced Loan Processor to work out of it’s Corporate office in Astoria, NY. SUMMARY This position requires a highly organized individual with strong multitasking skills and the ability to interact effectively with internal departments, customers, and third-party vendors throughout the loan process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Track Loan Applications and Pipeline Activity Order Searches, Credit Reports, Appraisals, and Environmental Reports Manage Good Faith Deposits, Processing Fees, and Commitment Fees Process Vendor Invoices and Payments Coordinate Appraisal and Environmental Report Engagements Prepare and Distribute Loan-Related Reports Issue Commitment Letters Update Loan Information within nCino and Other Bank Systems Scan, Index, and Maintain Loan Files Coordinate with Underwriting, Lending Officers, and Third-Party Vendors QUALIFICATIONS Strong multitasking and organizational skills Efficient in gathering, analyzing and managing information Well-organized and detail-oriented Critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Banking or loan processing experience preferred. Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Adobe PDF). Salary commensurate with experience. (salary range $55,000 - $65,000) Alma Bank employees work in an open and collaborative environment.
