First Team Hampton Chevrolet is a leader in Customer Service - and our award-winning Service Department is in IMMEDIATE need of a Service Porter!!

Job Responsibilities:

• Move vehicles from service write up area to designated parking places.
• Return vehicles to customers after service, making sure that vehicle is clean, in good working order, and thank the customer for their business.
• Monitor parking and accessibility to service entrance at all times, making inquiries as needed to ensure the driveways are clear.
• Shuttle customer to and from First Team dealership
• Transport vehicles to other dealerships
• Any other duties needed to provide unequaled excellence in customer service.

Job Requirements:

• Must have clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations
• Must be able to drive both an automatic and manual car shift
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Self-Starter with proven ability to seek out new ways to build opportunities for the dealership and customer satisfaction
• High level of initiative and ability to work in a team

Additional Responsibilities:

• Adherence to Company attendance and punctuality standards.
• Adherence to Company timekeeping standards; Employees are required to record the beginning and ending times of any shift, meal break or departure from work for personal reasons.
• Maintain the Company's appearance and decorum standards.
• Follow the Code of Business Ethics and Conduct.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Working Conditions:

• This physically demanding position requires frequent movement; i.e. bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, and getting into and out of various vehicles repeatedly during the work shift.
