Job Title: Warehouse - Lead Job Location: Barnesville, PA Job Location (City, State and Zip code): Barnesville, PA 18214 Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits Pay Rate: $21.50 p/hr Shift: Mid-shift, 10:30 AM–7:00 PM Duties/Responsibilities Leading a department of 10+ warehouse workers Assign, monitor, and evaluate workflow of the department Train employees on procedures in accordance with company policies and procedures Maintain and complete documentation as needed. Hands-on involvement in all aspects of distribution Monitor and oversee the shipping/receiving of inbound and outbound shipments Maintain, review and complete paperwork required for the shipping/receiving process Use of a computer system to input, retrieve and evaluate information. Performs other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word Ability to work successfully with a diverse population; internally and externally, regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion or position Ability to act calmly under stress and strain, and not be hasty Must be dependable and trustworthy, ethical, honest and have integrity Must be organized, having the ability to follow a systematic method of performing a task Exercise a high level of independent judgement, organizational ability and Initiative Basic Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of basic warehouse equipment such as pickers, forklifts and reach trucks Minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory experience in heavy volume distribution. 1+ year of experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) Must have open availability and flexibility with working hours and schedule Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing/walking warehouse floor to observe/manage business activity.
