Key Responsibilities

Functional Analysis & Requirement Gathering

• Collaborate with business users to understand and document requirements.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis to align business needs with PeopleSoft capabilities.
• Develop functional specifications and user stories for system enhancements.

System Configuration & Customization

• Configure PeopleSoft modules to meet business requirements.
• Customize PeopleSoft applications using PeopleTools, including Application Designer, Application Engine, SQR, and BI Publisher.
• Develop and maintain interfaces between PeopleSoft and external systems.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Prepare test plans and scripts for unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Coordinate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
• Resolve issues identified during testing and post-production support.

Training & Support

• Provide training to end-users on new functionalities and system enhancements.
• Offer ongoing support to users, addressing queries and issues promptly.
• Assist in the preparation of user manuals and documentation.

Project Management & Documentation

• Assist in project planning, including timelines and resource allocation.
• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, customizations, and processes.
• Ensure compliance with change management procedures and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Technical Proficiency

• Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft applications.
• Proficiency in PeopleTools (Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, BI Publisher).
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting.

Functional Expertise

• In-depth understanding of PeopleSoft modules and business processes.
• Experience with PeopleSoft reporting tools (PS Query, nVision).
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft Integration Broker for system integrations.

Analytical & Communication Skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
