Senior Laboratory Assistant

Description Represents the laboratory to the public, physicians, patients and offices while assisting laboratory technical staff, receiving/accessioning and/or processing specimens according to laboratory procedures. Follows established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, safety; environmental and infectious control standards so that the laboratory remains in compliance with accreditation and licensing agencies. Required Qualifications: H.S. Diploma or GED Coursework/Training: Successful completion of a phlebotomy program through a post- secondary school, college, military program, employer, or an equivalent training program Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification --or-- Washington Medical Assistant Certification Preferred Qualifications: Prior phlebotomy experience Why Join Providence Swedish?
