Student Worker Student Life

The Student Life Student Worker provides programs and services centered on leadership, development, civic engagement, student organizations, and the co‑curricular transcript. Responsibilities Prepare departmental mailings Prepare and distribute Student Life promotional materials Create and maintain campus bulletin boards and easels weekly Assist with various Student Life events as needed (answering phones, handling incoming traffic, staffing tables/events, etc.) Answer phones, pick up and distribute mail, handle incoming traffic to the office Provide department tours for current and future students Copying, filing, sorting, and compiling various information Verify and maintain the accuracy of data entry Occasional evening and weekend hours required Required to serve as a general member of the Campus Activities Board and occasionally fulfill the responsibilities of an executive member as needed Other duties and training as assigned Minimum Qualifications A Waubonsee student enrolled in at least one credit Have a minimum GPA of 2.0 or above Be in good standing with Student Conduct Be making Satisfactory Academic Progress Must be at least 18 years old Excellent communication and organizational skills; must be flexible Experience with Microsoft Office Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. preferred Position Details Req ID: 2164 Grant Funded: No Minimum Starting Rate: $15.55 Compensation Type: Hourly Office Hours: Varies Hours per Week: up to 20 Testing: No Targeted Hire Date: 8/3/2026 Benefits Days off on National Holidays and when the college is closed $25 bookstore credit to buy Waubonsee wear Flexible schedules Special Instructions Housed at Sugar Grove, though may travel to other campuses for events and programs support. #J-18808-Ljbffr Waubonsee Community College
