AV Support Technician

AV Support TechnicianWe are seeking a full-time, on-site AV Support Technician to support an Adidas location in Portland, Oregon. The hardware is already installed, and the client needs a knowledgeable, hands-on resource to manage, support, and troubleshoot existing AV and digital signage systems provided by AVI-SPL. This is a temporary assignment (2–3 months) intended to bridge coverage while a long-term resource is identified.Duration & ScheduleDuration: Approximately 2–3 monthsSchedule: Full-time, standard business hoursStart Date: Tentatively February 1 (subject to final confirmation)ResponsibilitiesProvide on-site support for AVI-SPL–installed AV and digital signage systemsMonitor, manage, and troubleshoot: Digital signage platformsVideo wall systemsAV content and playback technologiesAct as the local technical presence for Adidas, coordinating as needed with AVI-SPL teamsDiagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issuesPerform basic system checks, resets, and configuration adjustmentsEscalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining day-to-day operational stabilityCommunicate clearly with client stakeholders regarding status and issuesRequired Skills & ExperienceHands-on experience supporting digital signage environmentsFamiliarity with video walls, including Planar systemsExperience with AV content platforms such as: Tripleplay Digital SignageMood Media (or similar AV content systems)Strong troubleshooting skills in live production or enterprise AV environmentsComfortable working independently on-siteProfessional, client-facing communication skillsNice-to-Have / Bonus ExperienceExposure to locker or specialty systems (e.g., TZ Locker or similar), though not requiredPrior experience supporting retail, enterprise, or brand-focused environmentsEngagement DetailsEngagement Type: Contract / temporary assignmentReporting: On-site support role working in coordination with AVI-SPL Field ServicesPurpose: Short-term coverage until a permanent resource is identified
