One Accountant requested to start as soon as possible, with possible remote work days. Accountant candidates must have at least 2 years of experience. Contract to Hire
SUMMARY:Provide financial analysis and postings of amounts to financial reports and schedules. Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly postings to the financials directly and indirectly into the accounting software. Perform reconciliation of accounts to subsidiaries and affiliated companies. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Complete monthly financial reporting in corporate-provided reporting modules.. Experience
Minumum 2 years of experience required Education
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze daily, month-end, and year-end activity of income statement and balance sheet accounts by performing periodic audits of daily activity to ensure correct financial information through general ledger entries. Prepare journal entries to maintain correct allocations for multiple-company financial information. Reconcile bank accounts and post bank activity as required. Maintain companies' financial assets and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to the general ledger. Reconcile monthly intercompany accounts for subsidiaries and affiliated companies for accounts receivable and accounts payable as processed by the accounting area. Prepare related miscellaneous charges or credits. Assist the Accounting Supervisor/Controller with invoicing and collection of accounts receivable. Assist in closing system modules for month-end. Assist in general accounting as deemed necessary by the Accounting Supervisor. Cross-train in other accounting areas to provide backup when necessary. Medical, dental, and vision insurance are available to qualified candidates who meet eligibility requirements.
