The facility has 13 operating rooms plus one procedure room. On average, the department performs 45 cases per day. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in an operating room setting. We welcome first-time travelers. The types of patients encountered include those undergoing orthopedic procedures, spinal surgeries, and general surgeries. The ideal candidate will also have experience with robotic surgeries and further specialties such as plastics and GYN procedures. The position may include weekend rotation and call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time. Support staff is available to assist in the department, including OR assistants and nursing staff. Technology utilized includes an electronic medical record system and IV pumps. We also have support from anesthesia staff available 24/7. Scrub color is provided by the facility.
