We are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to make sales calls on assigned groups of customers via telephone, e-mail, and fax to establish and qualify clients/prospects. Establishes, maintains, and expands client lists and keeps a daily record of calls and information requests sent. Takes orders, closes sales, and prepares appropriate documentation. In addition, responsible for revenue budget achievement, meeting client quotas, reaching account goals on a monthly, quarterly and/or annual basis, expanding sales, and ensures positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers. Increase sales through efficient management of promotional spending within client guidelines. Assist Inside Sales Manager in meeting company income and expense budgets. Meet or exceed clients' goals for sales, distribution, and promotional volume. Utilize appropriate sales materials and data to deliver fact-based solutions to customers. Achieve incremental growth by pursuing volume-producing merchandising at assigned customer account. Expand customer base and distribution. Continue to add clients purchased by Customer. Send email blast and mail out per client requirements. Receive and expedite new business calls from CDM's, BDM's, and outside sources. Provide monthly business updates. Provide documentation to BAA to ensure all new customers are set up in GenWeb. Work with BDM and customers to determine trade show and special program participation. Assist with setup, sell, and dismantle if attending trade shows. Maintain distribution grid, contract log, and other trackers as requested. Work with Inside Sales Manager to identify process/system enhancements for tracking, call efficiency, and reporting. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Previous sales experience a plus Strong written communication and verbal communication skills Good interpersonal skills Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines Flexible and adaptable, able to change and alter according to changes in projects or business environment Demonstrates a high level of result-oriented performance Education Level (Required): High School Diploma or GED equivalent experience. Field of Study / Area of Experience Previous sales experience a plus. Environmental & Physical Requirements Office / Sedentary Requirements Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
