Our CNAs play a vital role in providing compassionate, person-centered care in a transitional setting between hospital and home.The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with each resident's assessment, care plan, and facility policies and procedures.Essential duties and responsibilities include:Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and diningMeasuring and recording vital signs (TPRs), weights, and intake/output as instructedResponding promptly to call lights and ensuring residents unable to call for assistance are checked frequentlyObserving and reporting changes in resident condition, skin integrity, or behavior to the Charge NurseAssisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges as directedProviding restorative and rehabilitative care under nursing supervisionMaintaining resident rooms, equipment, and personal belongings in a clean and orderly mannerFollowing infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies at all timesReporting accidents, incidents, concerns, or potential violations immediatelyFostering a warm, respectful, and positive environment for residents, families, and coworkersThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications:Active California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification requiredCPR certification preferredSkills & Abilities:Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with compassion and professionalismStrong teamwork and interpersonal skillsPhysical demands:Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 25 poundsFrequent standing, walking, bending, and assisting with resident mobilityMay be required to assist during emergency or evacuation situationsWork environment:Skilled Nursing FacilityNoise level generally low to moderateReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functionsWe are an equal opportunity employer.
