We're hiring a Lead Low Voltage Technician to oversee commercial structured cabling, fiber, security, and access control installations throughout the Lowcountry. This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys mentoring others, solving field challenges, and taking ownership of projects from start to finish.

You'll spend most of your time in the field, leading crews, supporting customers, and ensuring high-quality installations while working alongside your team.

• Leading crews on commercial low-voltage projects
• Coordinating daily jobsite activities and technician assignments
• Installing and troubleshooting structured cabling systems
• Terminating, testing, and certifying copper and fiber optic cabling
• Supporting access control, surveillance, and electronic security installations
• Reading blueprints, floor plans, and project documentation
• Maintaining testing records, progress reports, and project updates
• Communicating with customers, project managers, and other trades
• Ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to customer standards

• Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A cabling
• Single-mode and multimode fiber
• Access control systems
• CCTV and surveillance cameras
• Card readers and door hardware
• Electric strikes and mag locks
• Network racks, cabinets, and patch panels
• Cable tray, J-hooks, and pathway systems

• 5+ years of low-voltage, structured cabling, telecommunications, or security experience
• Previous leadership, foreman, or lead technician experience
• Strong troubleshooting and installation skills
• Ability to interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Experience with copper certification and fiber testing equipment
• Professional communication and customer-facing skills
• Valid driver's license

• BICSI certification
• OSHA certification
• Manufacturer certifications
• Lift or aerial equipment certifications

4-Day Work Week

Monday - Thursday

7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

This is more than a technician role. This is a Permanent position based out of North Charleston, SC.

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
