Job Description

We are seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN to provide exceptional nursing care at our facility. The candidate may float to different units to care for a similar patient population. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical telemetry patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting findings and care interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments, following established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist in the education of patients and families regarding health care needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of experience as an RN in a Med/Surg Tele unit.
• Current Ohio RN license or Compact State license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications must be active and in hand.
• Must be able to pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation.
• Recent travel experience preferred.
