Labor and Employment Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level Labor and Employment Associate to join their practice group in Seattle, Washington. The candidate must be licensed to practice law in Oregon and preferably in Washington, or be willing to waive into Washington. The ideal candidate has over three years of experience in litigation, including employment cases, and some experience in employment advice, such as drafting handbooks and agreements. Duties Litigate employment cases effectively. Provide employment advice and draft related documents. Collaborate with clients to ensure workplace compliance. Defend employers in lawsuits. Requirements Licensed to practice law in Oregon; Washington license preferred. Over three years of litigation experience, including employment cases. Strong writing and time management skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar admission in Oregon; Washington preferred. Skills Excellent litigation and advisory skills. Proficient in drafting legal documents.
