Overview MRI Technologist – Radiology in travel assignment format. Location: Austell, Georgia, United States. Start date: 05/25/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,747–$1,849 per week. Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed. Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts with approximately 20 hours per week. Setting: hospital imaging department. This role requires independent practice in a busy MRI environment, with patient-centered care across age groups. Responsibilities Perform a wide variety of MRI procedures according to department protocol, ensuring image quality and patient safety Set up MRI equipment, select imaging parameters, and position patients to optimize diagnostic results Obtain high-quality diagnostic studies with independent judgment and proper use of imaging equipment Provide age-appropriate patient care, explaining procedures and addressing patient comfort and safety concerns Collaborate with radiologists and other imaging staff to complete examinations and address any equipment or workflow issues Maintain documentation, ensure standard safety practices, and keep equipment clean, calibrated, and in good working order Requirements Flexible with work hours to meet department needs and patient flow Dependable, accountable, and cooperative; able to work independently when needed Ability to safely perform a wide range of MRI procedures and obtain quality diagnostic studies Proficiency in setting up imaging equipment and positioning patients for MRI exams MRI experience in a clinical setting preferred; ARRT MRI certification or eligibility and state credentialing as required by regulations Ability to work in a hospital imaging department and follow department procedures for safety and quality Benefits and Support Dedicated travel recruiter and ongoing support throughout the assignment Credentialing and onboarding assistance to facilitate start Scheduling coordination and assignment support during the contract Competitive weekly pay and responsive employer support #J-18808-Ljbffr
