Lester Brothers Excavation is a long-standing excavation, trucking, septic and aggregate company that believes in teamwork, reliability, and taking care of good employees. We're hiring a Diesel Mechanic to help keep our fleet of trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment running strong. 

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair diesel trucks, trailers, and equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance, services, and inspections
• Repair brakes, lights, engines, moving parts, and mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine repair plans
• Replace and recondition parts including bearings, gears, pistons, and valves
• Safely operate jacks, hoists, and shop equipment
• Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience
• Experience with diesel engines and air brake systems
• Experience with scanner diagnosic equipment preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Certifications are a plus, but not required
• Clean driving record with ability to obtain a Chauffeur's license is required
