About This Role
We are seeking a reliable cook to join our team who has a track record of preparing meals for big groups, especially those with preschool or childcare experience. This individual must be dependable, a team player, and enjoy working with others.
What You'll Do- Ensuring compliance with state and local health department regulations, licensing requirements, safety standards, and nutritional guidelines, while upholding high standards of personal hygiene, safety, and sanitation.
- Ability to read and understand recipes
- Preparing snacks and meals in accordance with posted menus and nutrition regulations, and planning meals accordingly.
- Ability to regularly and routinely lift and push at least 50 pounds.
- Being a valued team member
- Completion of a background check required.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Annual food service certification is mandatory.
- A positive attitude is a must.
- Helping in a classroom setting
