In-Room Dining Order Taker

Position Overview
We are seeking an In-Room Dining Order Taker to join our exceptional team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong Food & Beverage background in a luxury hotel environment. This role requires excellent communication, organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage time with efficiency and grace. The candidate must be guest-focused, polished, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Answer and process all in-room dining requests professionally and promptly
- Upsell menu items and make knowledgeable recommendations
- Coordinate orders between kitchen and service teams to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain detailed order records and follow proper billing procedures
- Anticipate guest needs and provide thoughtful, personalized service
- Support the In-Room Dining team as needed
- Adhere to hotel service standards and departmental procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in luxury hotel Food & Beverage required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., push up to 100 lbs., and comfortably bend, stoop, and walk stairs and hotel corridors
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
