Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a cardiovascular operating room setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Assist with and support open heart and vascular surgical procedures including CABG, valve replacement, carotid endarterectomy, and ECMO
• Support angiogram, fistulagram, fistula creation, and lower extremity bypass procedures
• Collaborate within a skill-mixed team of RNs and surgical technologists in a fast-paced, 3-OR environment
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Participate in on-call coverage, averaging 4–5 days per month and 1 weekend per month; float to main OR as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an operating room setting
• Demonstrated experience with open heart and vascular surgery

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Combined open heart and vascular surgical experience
• Comfort working in a high-acuity, fast-paced cardiovascular OR environment
