LOUIS, MO 63130Scheduled Hours40Position SummaryThe Inventory & Purchasing Processor coordinates and performs functions related to the acquisition, tracking, storage and handling of tools, equipment and materials for the Enterprise Physical Operations - Danforth department, including the processing of service contracts and the monitoring of financial accounts within the department.Job DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities:Performs all duties associated with the procurement of parts and materials, including tracking, storage, delivery, pickup and physical receiving.Creates and approves transactions in the financial system including purchase orders, change orders, blanket orders, check requests, budget adjustments, ID’s and journals.Communicates and coordinates with customers, project stakeholders and departments and relays/resolves issues as they arise.Monitors the account balances for funds and communicates account balances with managers as needed.Serves as department liaison regarding procurement processes and policies.Conducts inventory spot checks and tool inventories.Performs other duties as assignedWorking Conditions:Job Location/Working ConditionsNormal office environment.Requires extensive safety training.Stockroom or warehouse.Alternative work schedules.Dust, dirt, grease or other disagreeable elements.Exposure to moving machineryPhysical EffortTypically sitting at desk or table.Typically standing or walking.Typically bending, crouching, stooping.Repetitive wrist, hand or finger movement.Occasional lifting (25 lbs or less).Occasional lifting (25 – 50 lbs).EquipmentOffice equipment.Simple hand tools.Heavy equipment (buffers, mowers, forklift, etc.).The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this classification.
