- Mixed-Signal Electrical Design
- System architecture, schematic design, PCB layout, component selection, design verification
- Signal integrity, circuit analysis, frequency-domain fundamentals
- Medical Device Compliance
- IEC 60601-1 safety standard
- Medical device regulatory testing and verification
- Regulatory assessments and component obsolescence management
- Verification & Debugging
- Oscilloscopes, DMMs, logic/network analyzers
- Hardware validation, troubleshooting, root cause analysis
- Reliability testing and customer complaint investigations
- Design and maintain mixed-signal electrical systems and PCBs.
- Create schematics, specifications, PCB layouts, and verification plans.
- Support IEC 60601 compliance, regulatory testing, and safety assessments.
- Debug and validate hardware using lab equipment.
- Analyze customer complaints and drive design improvements.
- Manage obsolete component replacements and associated testing.
- Collaborate with Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing, Quality, and R&D teams.
- Support projects from concept through commercialization.
- BS + 4 years OR MS + 2 years Electrical Engineering experience.
- Mixed-signal board design experience.
- PCB design and schematic capture.
- Experience with OrCAD.
- Medical device hardware development.
- IEC 60601-1 knowledge.
- Hardware debugging and validation experience.
