Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

Registered Nurse – Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum

Schedule: Nights, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 pm – 7:00 am)

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of RN experience
• Current BLS, FHM, NRP certifications
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Community hospital L&D experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• No pending licenses accepted

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to patients during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases.
• Assist with vaginal births and C-sections, including scrubbing and circulating as needed.
• Conduct fetal monitoring, identify and manage abnormal fetal heart patterns.
• Provide care for neonates, including basic assessments and phototherapy.
• Support postpartum recovery and educate patients on breastfeeding and newborn care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
