## Exciting Opportunity for Medical Laboratory Scientist!

Job Description:

- Position: Medical Laboratory Scientist for Free Standing ER
- Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Variable
- Duration: 13 weeks (potential extension to 26 weeks)
- Location: Herriman, UT

Key Requirements:

- Must hold MLS certification through ASCP or equivalent (ASCP MLS, CLS, MT Medical Technologist)
- Full license required (no associates)
- Willingness to perform clerical duties as assigned by Nursing and Lab Director to support FSED operations

Unit Information:

- Type of unit: Emergency Room Lab
- Staff Composition:
- Day Shift: Charge Nurse, RNs, CNAs
- Night Shift: Supportive roles as needed
- Focus on Point of Care Testing and associated clerical tasks

Preferred Skills:

- Experience or knowledge in Point of Care testing

Best Personality Fit:

- Team player with strong communication skills
- Adaptable and eager to support clinical operations

Required Certifications:

- ASCP certification (MLS, CLS, or Medical Technologist)

Dress Code:

- Scrubs (specific color/attire to be confirmed)
