Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This per diem opportunity is seeking a licensed Staff Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations on a short-term assignment in the Woodstock area. The role involves ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of prescriptions, providing patient counseling, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. The assignment runs from October 12th through October 16th, with a consistent Monday to Friday day shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify prescription orders for appropriateness and completeness
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and safety considerations
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacologic therapy
• Ensure adherence to all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations

Qualifications:

• Active New York State Pharmacist license in good standing
• Strong knowledge of prescription drugs, dosages, and interactions
• Excellent communication and patient service skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Weekends closed

Location:

• Woodstock, NY (travel to Harrisville, NY for select dates: October 12-16)
