Heavy Equipment / Diesel Mechanic

Job ID: 523936 Non-Exempt Job Summary Torrent Resources, a CRH company, is seeking a Heavy Equipment / Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in a shop and field environment. This individual will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of heavy construction equipment, class 7 and 8 trucks, and specialty equipment. This is a union role. Job Responsibilities Perform heavy equipment inspections and repairs Diagnose and repair of any breakdowns Complete preventive maintenance Weld and fabricate on equipment and tooling Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed Job Requirements Valid driver’s license CDL A, preferred Must have own tools Welding/fabrication experience ASE certification preferred Construction equipment experience preferred Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
