With a team of 1,200+ employees and a legacy of leadership in retail real estate, we’re shaping the future of the industry by delivering exceptional value to our partners and the communities we serveIf you’re ready to be a part of our team, we encourage you to apply.Job DescriptionGGP has an immediate need for a Marketing Coordinator at our Chicago office.Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Tenant Success, with a dotted line to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Marketing Coordinator is an hourly employee that serves as a vital resource for the Marketing team, providing tenant marketing coordination, marketing assistance, and administrative support.ResponsibilitiesTenant Success supportSupport the Sr. Manager, Tenant Success in the project management and implementation of prioritized tenant events and activationsCoordinate the trafficking of retailer assets to support new store openings via digital channels across the portfolioTrack all marketing, Strategic Partnership (GGP Media), and Property Management support for prioritized new store openingsAssist with a variety of project management, event, and promotional program needs, including (but not limited to) developing sweepstakes rules with Legal as well as the sourcing and fulfillment of prizes or other event elementsDevelop and maintain the overall new store opening calendar and associated project plans and own overall successful execution of said plansMarketing supportManage budgeting tasks, including expense management, invoice processing, and monthly accruals for accountingPublish web and social contentCollaborate with Legal and Risk Management on contractual agreements as neededOther assigned duties as neededAdministrative for Head of MarketingAssist in the daily business of department and team functions, such as coordinating meeting communication and flow, shipping and packaging, and assisting in team outingsSupport companywide cultural initiatives such as philanthropy events, monthly cultural programming, Leadership Conference, Town Halls, and Holiday PartyTravel and expense management for Head of MarketingPowerPoint and QA supportOther assigned duties as neededQualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or GED requiredBachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, real estate, hospitality, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experienceExperienceExperience working in cross-functional, stakeholder-driven environmentsExperience with invoicing/contract management a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point)SkillsStrong project management skills with strong attention to detailStrong interpersonal and communication skillsStrong collaboration with a willingness to jump in and learnStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple activations simultaneouslyHave the ability to wear multiple hats, roll up sleeves and demonstrate proactivityPhysical Requirements & Work EnvironmentStandard business hours, Monday through Friday in-office environmentOccasional evening or weekend work may be required to support business continuity during high-volume tenant opening periods, activations, or time-sensitive tenant needsCompensationSalary type: Non-ExemptPay Frequency: Bi-weeklyHourly Pay Range: $24.00 - $33.65/hourAnnual Bonus: 10%Benefit InformationCompetitive compensationMedical, Dental and Vision beginning day 1401(k) Company matching401(k) Vests on Day 1Career development programsCharitable donation matchingGenerous paid time off (i.e., vacation, personal holidays, paid sick time)Paid Volunteer HoursPaid Parental LeaveFamily planning assistance including IVF, surrogacy, and adoption optionsWellness and mental health resourcesPet insurance offeringChildcare AssistanceCommuter benefitsA culture on our values of Act with Integrity, Build Mutual Trust, Take Initiative and Win Together.We are proud to create a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
