Job Summary Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. Job Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40 Shift: 8‑hour days Employment type: Travel Required Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in Pennsylvania. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association/American Red Cross). Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in physical therapy. Prior experience as a PT (new graduates are encouraged to apply). Other relevant certifications or licenses. Essential Functions Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate specialized PT equipment and modalities safely and effectively. Assess progress, adjust plans, and document interventions in the medical record. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other health professionals. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management. Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety standards. Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities. Collaborate in discharge planning for smooth transitions. Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice. Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication. Proficient reading, writing, and verbal communication in English. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions; PC proficiency. Physical abilities: remain stationary, move equipment up to 50‑100 lbs, push, pull, bend. Interpersonal skills: work with diverse personnel professionally. Technical/motor skills: fine manipulation, handling equipment, assisting procedures. Mental requirements: manage frequent public contact, meet deadlines, work with or without supervision, tolerate irregular schedules, maintain concentration on detail.
