About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Finance and Administration to play a pivotal role in the organization's mission and long-term sustainability. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner to the CEO, Executive Team, and Board of Directors, overseeing financial health, operational excellence, and organizational growth. Key responsibilities include financial forecasting, risk management, technology modernization, HR systems, audit oversight, and investment strategies. The VP will also be tasked with designing and elevating the systems and structures that support the organization's mission, particularly in the advancement of rights for women, children, and families. Applicants for the VP position at the company should be collaborative, detail-oriented leaders with a proven track record in financial and administrative management. The role requires a minimum of 15 years' experience in supervising staff, managing organizational budgets, and proficiency in accounting software and non-profit financial management tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in non-profit accounting, compliance with financial standards, and experience in supervising IT and People and Culture operations. Strategic decision-making, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive organizational growth are essential. The VP will also be responsible for risk management, compliance, and providing strategic financial leadership to support the company's goals and mission.
