We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Guard to join our team! As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and staff. The ideal candidate should possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think quickly in high-stress situations. Responsibilities

• Check vacant rooms
• Ensure that policies and procedures are enforced
• Ensure/maintain key control
• Maintain current CPR certification
• Make safety and security patrols of property and facility and in a timely manner report to management any unusual observations
• Protect guests and employees from harm and prevent theft and/or destruction of property
• Write shift reports and security incident reports
• Attend all mandatory meetings
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior security/law enforcement experience, hotel preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of emergency procedures and first aid/CPR certification preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
