Order Selector Warehouse (Temp-to-Perm)

Location: Orlando, FL

Our client, a leading company in the hospitality supply chain industry, is seeking experienced Order Selectors for a temp-to-perm position at their Orlando, FL distribution facility. This role operates in a dry goods, non-freezer warehouse environment and requires proven experience with double electric pallet jacks and reach trucks. This is a full-time contract position with strong potential for permanent placement.

Contract Duration: Temp-to-perm (approx. 584 total hours to start)

Schedule: SundayThursday, 6:00 PM 2:30 AM

Training Schedule: MondayFriday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM (12 weeks)

Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week

Travel Required: None

Key Responsibilities

Operate double electric pallet jack to transport goods throughout the facility
Drive reach truck to retrieve and store product in upper-level locations
Pick orders accurately from both floor-level and high-reach locations
Build and secure pallets for outbound shipment
Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
Perform additional general warehouse tasks as needed
Maintain high attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment

Required Qualifications

2-4 years of documented experience operating a double electric pallet jack (must appear in job history section of resume)
Demonstrated reach truck / high reach experience
Experience with stand-up warehouse equipment only; no sit-down equipment experience required or accepted
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a repeated basis
Consistent employment history; any gaps must be explained
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in a dry goods or non-freezer warehouse environment
Experience working in fast-paced distribution centers
Familiarity with hospitality or amenity product handling

About the Role: This position offers a pathway from a temporary assignment to a permanent role for qualified candidates. Group interviews will be conducted to expedite the hiring process. Candidates must be comfortable working evening/overnight shifts following an initial daytime training period. Competitive rate offered.
