Phlebotomist

Work Schedule Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 5:30pm and Friday 9:00am-3:30pm Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner Process billing information and collect payments as necessary Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency must be provided Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills, written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation Flexibility to work overtime as needed Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Pay Range $17.75 - $24.00 per hour Benefits Employees scheduled for 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled for less than 20 hours, casual, intern, or temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan.
