Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Outpatient

CA Licensed Vocational Nurse Outpatient
8-hour shifts between 08:0020:00, possibly 1 weekend per month to assist with urgent care as needed.
Daily census reported at 350 patients.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in an outpatient setting.
- Active CA LVN license at the time of submission.
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC only).
- IV certification.
- Phlebotomy/blood withdrawal certification.
- References: 2 supervisor-level references from the past 1 year required at submission.
Responsibilities
- Support physician and nursing staff with patient intake and assessments.
- Take and document vital signs.
- Prepare exam rooms and assist with routine outpatient procedures.
- Administer medications and IVs, including starts and maintenance.
- Perform phlebotomy and wound care.
- Obtain EKGs and administer basic assessments.
Orientation includes 160 hours of training; modules to be completed prior to start. Background checks may apply, and any license or background issues require a detailed written statement. COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
