For more firm information, please visit **What is the Client Service Specialist responsible for?**# We are seeking a Client Service Specialist who will primarily focus on transaction request follow-up, the operational set-up of new SMA accounts, and account transition analysis. This individual may also have some relationship management responsibilities. The successful candidate will be considered a problem-solving partner for our clients and our sales team. The need for this hire is driven by the growth of our Canvas platform.# **What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Client Service Specialist?*** Effectively respond to ad-hoc advisor inquiries.* Facilitate responses to account transition requests.* Accurately onboard new accounts and ensure the appropriate settings are applied.* Provide an excellent advisor experience that encourages them to want to use Canvas more.* Work with colleagues on complex cases.# **What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?*** Bachelor’s Degree* 2+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role.* Previous experience working in financial services and/or an asset management firm required.* Experience working for a direct indexing provider in a client service or operational capacity, a plus.* Superior work ethic.* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.* Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.* Must have the ability to be pleasantly persistent when needed.* Self‐starter.* Strong time management and organizational skills.* Intellectual curiosity.* Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to effectively problem solve in a timely manner.* Must maintain a strong working relationship with both internal stakeholders and external clients.Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation.
