It all starts with our purpose and then, The Five Below Way, which is our values and behaviors that each and every associate believes in.It's all about culture at Five Below, making this a place that can inspire you as much as you inspire us with big ideas, super energy, passion, and the ability to make the workplace a WOWplace!Job ResponsibilitiesOwns the product roadmap for payments and corporate systems integrations connected to POS, driving requirements, prioritization, and delivery for the backend and integration components of the Xstore implementation in partnership with engineering and systems integration partners.Manages the strategic relationship and technical roadmap with payment processors and gateways (Verifone, Worldpay), including device certification, EMV/tokenization compliance, and PCI DSS requirements.Owns the integration layer connecting into Xstore and other store systems (loyalty, gift card, tax, and other enterprise/back-end integrations), ensuring reliable data flow.Owns the product roadmap for Five Below's proprietary, in-house Store Health and Retail Control Tower solution, partnering with internal engineering to define requirements for store performance monitoring and operational exception management.Partners with Oracle implementation teams and internal stakeholders on the Xstore migration, ensuring payments and backend integration requirements are represented throughout design, testing, and rollout.Maintains a register of business requests specific to payments and corporate systems integrations; prioritizes requirements, develops the product roadmap, and owns the backlog for this domain.Facilitates structured design sessions and workshops with cross-functional stakeholders (Store Operations, Loss Prevention, Finance, IT) to define technical capabilities and business processes for complex payments and integration initiatives.Serves as an escalation and communication point for business-impacting incidents related to payments or integrations; ensures timely, business-language communication to leadership.Monitors the external environment for emerging payment and integration technologies, informing the long-term systems capability strategy.Provides guidance on financial planning for this domain, including investment appraisals (ROI) for payments and integration initiatives, and monitors costs, timelines, quality, and resources against agreed tolerances.Qualifications5+ years IT experience3+ years' experience in product management or product ownership on an Agile team, required at a large retailer operating 1,000s of doors and devicesExperience with Oracle Xstore, or a comparable enterprise POS platform, required; this role's focus is on backend payments and corporate systems integrationsHands-on experience with payment processing and gateway integrations (Verifone, Worldpay, or comparable processors); working knowledge of PCI DSS, EMV, and tokenization standardsExperience integrating corporate/enterprise systems into a POS or broader retail platform (loyalty, gift card, tax, CRM, or similar) strongly preferredExperience with payment terminal and device technologyActively maintains specialist knowledge in the following areas:Payments and common POS systems integrations (payment gateways, tender types, loyalty, and other back-end integrations)Exception-based reporting and loss prevention (Agilence or comparable third-party platform)Store health and operational exception monitoring (Five Below's proprietary Retail Control Tower)Experience with the following systems preferred…Inventory & Fulfillment (Manhattan Active Omni)Oracle XstoreVerifone Payment Terminals (M400, M425)Oracle Retail Customer Engagement (ORCE)Roadmap and Agile project management tools (Jira, Aha!)Strong vendor management experience, including certification processes and ongoing partner relationshipsMust be based in or commutable to the Philadelphia, PA area; regular on-site presence required to use the office labs for testing and development of payment devices and backend integrationsStrong experience defining product requirements, including functional requirements and supporting non-functional requirementsBackground in product roadmap management, both development and execution of a long-term visionAbility to…develop a clear, complete understanding of stakeholder needs and problems through careful listening, probing, encouraging, or summarizing and documenting them using natural languagedevelop and deliver communications (both oral and written) that have clarity and impactestablish and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and vendorsDedication to exceeding customer expectations and requirementsEffective time management and organizational skills with the ability to operate in a fluid, fast-paced environmentBA or BS degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related area preferredFive Below is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
