Job Title

Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse

Greenbrae, CA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Evening Shift — 12-hour shifts with start times varying between 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department with 31 beds and 5 resuscitation bays
• Manage a high-volume patient census averaging 100+ visits per day, including approximately 15% pediatric patients
• Deliver trauma-informed nursing care in a Level 3 Trauma Center environment
• Support care for STEMI and Stroke receiving center patients, applying appropriate protocols
• Assess and treat a diverse patient population with strong attention to pediatric care needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in California
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• TNCC certification required
• Experience in trauma nursing with solid knowledge of the pediatric patient population

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification preferred
• Prior experience in a high-volume emergency department setting
• Familiarity with STEMI and Stroke protocols
