Guest Services Supervisor

City, State: Brisbane, California Title: Guest Services Supervisor Location: Brisbane, CA FLSA: Non-Exempt Status: Full-time Reports to: Operations Manager Pay Range: $25.00 Responsibilities Assist the Operations Manager by overseeing the responsibilities of the Front Office staff ensuring guests are serviced professionally. Work with the Operations Manager to train and monitor front office staff. Monitor Guest Service Scores daily and take action to improve guest satisfaction through training, coaching, and problem resolution. Communicate with the Engineering Department regarding maintenance requests from guests and with the Housekeeping Department regarding guest rooms and requests. Maintain complete working knowledge of the software system, handle reservations, checking guests in and out, posting charges, and processing payments. Handle checks and credit cards received from guests for payment of hotel charges. Assist the Guest Service Manager by handling special requests, group blocking, and unusual circumstances. Maintain regular attendance, observe prescribed work, break, and meal periods in compliance with standards. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including dress code compliance. Perform any other duties as requested by the supervisor. Excellent customer service skills—respond to requests, provide high‑quality service, and solicit customer feedback. Initiative—ask for and offer help when needed, include appropriate people in decision‑making. Accountability—take responsibility for own actions, work independently with little supervision. Computer skills—knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and POS system functions. Education & Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree from a four‑year college or university or one to two years related experience and/or training. Equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualifications Flexibility to work nights and weekends. Ability to read and write fluent English, comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
