Job Opportunity: Advanced Cardiac Imager

Our organization is seeking a dedicated and board-certified or board-eligible Advanced Cardiac Imager who is passionate about full-spectrum imaging to join our comprehensive structural heart program.

Position Overview

As a vital member of our experienced Heart Team, you will focus on structural heart imaging within our high-quality, multidisciplinary structural heart center.

Key Responsibilities

• Specialize in structural heart and interventional transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), including both intra-procedural and pre-procedure imaging.
• Maintain a flexible weekly schedule that may include:
  • 2 days of TEE
  • 2 days in clinic
  • 1-2 days for additional CT, MRI, and transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) readings as needed
• Potential for interpreting structural heart CT and cardiac MRI.
• Engage in multidisciplinary Valve Clinic and Conference.
• Participate in clinical trials focused on major structural heart and interventional heart failure therapies, with opportunities for future leadership roles.

About Our Program

Our structural heart program offers a wide range of commercially available transcatheter therapies for aortic, mitral, and tricuspid diseases, including TAVR, M-TEER, TMVR, T-TEER, and TTVR. We are recognized as the most comprehensive and established structural heart program in the region, being the first to introduce all structural heart therapies.

Team Composition

• Our team consists of 41 cardiologists, 62 advanced practice providers, 3 cardiothoracic surgeons, and 3 vascular surgeons, with ongoing growth.
• We have a busy advanced heart failure program that provides all forms of mechanical circulatory support (MCS), including Impella, ECMO, and LVAD therapies.
• Support from 2 advanced practice providers and 3 nursing staff dedicated to the Structural Heart service line.
• Inpatient and outpatient mix with unrestricted call.

Technology and Workflow

Utilize smart technology to enhance patient care without extending your workday. Our providers leverage Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to streamline documentation, reduce administrative tasks, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding, contributing to a better work-life balance and increased revenue.

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of a fellowship in cardiology with a focus on advanced cardiac imaging, including structural heart imaging and interventional TEE.
• Board certification or eligibility in cardiology, echocardiography, and cardiac CT.
