Key Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans as developed by the supervising Physical Therapist, focusing on therapeutic modalities to address various musculoskeletal conditions.
• Assist patients in engaging with therapeutic exercises and functional activities, ensuring adherence to prescribed protocols and techniques.
• Administer various therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy to aid in pain management and recovery processes.
• Closely monitor patient progress during sessions, meticulously documenting improvements or challenges, and effectively communicating this information to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients on at-home exercise regimens and effective injury prevention strategies, fostering independence and confidence in their recovery journey.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations, maintaining accurate, confidential clinical records and safeguarding patient information.
• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for every patient, actively participating in team meetings and case discussions.

Qualifications

• A valid and active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in California.
