A day in this build: from schematic to flightline

You start your morning at TLD, the world's largest maker of Ground Support Equipment for aviation and aerospace. What you'll build and do

• Assemble electrical components and route wiring harnesses using screw drivers, pliers, soldering irons, splicing tools, crimpers, cutters, and related tools.
• Interpret assembly and sub-assembly drawings and sketches accurately to wire instruments, units, and machine systems.
• Operate and perform general maintenance on shop equipment with personal and team safety top of mind.
• Maintain an orderly work area and document your progress by keeping a daily time log on manufacturing/production travelers.
• Support additional assignments as directed by your immediate or higher-level supervisors.

What you bring

• Hands-on experience assembling industrial electrical components and wiring instruments/units using the right tools for the job.
• Consistency in delivering high-quality builds at expected output rates.
• Ability to move safely across uneven surfaces and through restricted spaces.
• Comfort climbing ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs; able to kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods; capable of working in/around tight areas.

Other skills that help you thrive

• Read and interpret electrical drawings; proficient with measuring scales and tape.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable using tablets and computers.

Schedule

• 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:30am–3:00pm
• or
• 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 3:00pm–11:30pm (7% Shift Differential)

• High school diploma or equivalent.
