Product Engineer / Full Stack Software Engineer - Health & Longevity Startup The position is based in the company’s office in San Francisco. All of the company’s engineers work in the office 5 days/week, and it seeks candidates who will be excited about working in a fast-paced, hard-working, high-performance environment where teammates are together in person. The company is building a new healthcare system that involves diagnostics, preventative healthcare, fitness/performance/health optimization, AI, and longevity. The company's ambition is to build the future of health. The company has about 60 employees and 15 engineers. It has raised a very large round of series B funding and has already achieved a $1 billion valuation. Revenues are growing very rapidly, and the company is now moving towards hyper growth. The company will pay a salary of $220k-$250k, plus equity which could be very lucrative. Job Responsibilities Ideally 50/50 front/backend. Depending on your preference you could be up to 70% in either direction. Designing and implementing end-to-end software solutions, from front-end components to backend infrastructure. Collaborating with product, design, and clinical teams to shape a seamless, user-centric health platform. Building and maintaining scalable microservices architecture and modern web applications. Owning technical decisions and contribute to company-wide product strategy and planning. Establishing and enforce best practices in testing, security, and performance optimization. Contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering workflows and infrastructure. Qualifications At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer, with a focus on full stack web development. Expertise with modern frameworks such as React, Node.js, Typescript, and related tooling. Strong in at least one of: Node.js, Python, TypeScript, Java, Go, or Ruby on Rails. Strong knowledge of system design, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services (especially AWS/Fargate). Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. Nice to have Passion for healthcare, wellness, or longevity tech. Experience at an early-stage startup or as a founding engineer.
