Qualifications: Must be able to pass a State and Federal Background Check Must hold (able to obtain) a valid Educational Aide Permit with Ohio Department Of Education Experience working with 1:1 students Experience in changing soiled diapers if needed Exceptional attendance and punctuality Experience working in multiple disabilities classroom a plus Experience working with non-verbal & verbal students Passion & love for students who can't help themselves Strong student management skills Ability to lift & bend with students Must have one of the following: 48 College semester hours 72 College quarter hours Associate Degree Passed the Ohio Paraprofessional test Valid Educational Aide Permit with Ohio Department Of Education Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, talk and hear, reach with hands and arms, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, equipment or controls.
