Phlebotomist - Clinical Laboratory

Description Phlebotomist at Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa, CA. This position is Per‑Diem and will work 10‑hour, Evening shifts. Responsibilities Primary responsibility is to accurately identify patients, collect high‑quality blood specimens on inpatients, and deliver samples to the laboratory in a timely fashion. Required Qualifications Coursework/Training: Continuing Education Units; 6 units every 2 years. Coursework/Training: Phlebotomy courses from a California State approved School of Phlebotomy (see State Phlebotomy regulations). Upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License or Upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License. Preferred Qualifications Laboratory, medical office, or hospital experience. Compensation Pay range: $29.27 - $39.03. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
