Pay : Starting at $43/hour Schedule : Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:30pm Location : Jackson, NJ If you're a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for pediatric care, we have an exciting opportunity for you at our Surgery Center! As an RN with us, you'll play a pivotal role in providing Pre-Op and PACU nursing care to our young patients in our ambulatory surgical center. Your duties will include supervising both direct and indirect nursing care, utilizing the nursing process to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and accurately document nursing care for the pre-operative Coordinate all aspects of nursing care with pre-operative team to achieve defined patient outcomes Works closely with the surgeons and the anesthesia care providers to guide the child safely through the postoperative period Provide nursing care patients in post op, continuously monitoring and assessing patients during their stay Assisting patients recovering from anesthesia Assessing the patient's health status and previous medical history Provide appropriate education to the patient’s family regarding their individualized plan of care for at home recovery Qualifications Graduate of accredited School of Nursing At least one year of experience as an RN preferred Previous experience working in a pediatric or ambulatory surgery setting a plus Ability to obtain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of start date Current Pennsylvania RN License What We Offer Medical and Vision Insurance : You're eligible starting the first month after you join In-house Dental Coverage : Enjoy this benefit with $0 premium 401(k) Plan with Company Match : We help you plan for your future with our matching program Generous Paid Time Off and Holidays : Take the time you need to relax and recharge Employee Referral Program: Earn rewards for bringing talented individuals to our team.
