Physician - OB/GYN

We are seeking a skilled OB/GYN Physician for a 50-day assignment in South Dakota. The role involves managing multiple shift blocks, including weeknight and weekend call. Responsibilities include comprehensive clinical work, inpatient rounding for obstetrics, newborns, and pediatric patients, daily rounds for postpartum mothers, and newborn exams. Responsibilities and Duties Perform weekday clinical duties and call shifts, including weekend call. Conduct inpatient rounding for obstetrics, newborns, and pediatric patients. Provide daily rounds for postpartum mothers following deliveries. Perform nursery rounds and newborn examinations, often prior to discharge. Manage prenatal care, routine low-risk labor and delivery, and postpartum care. Offer lactation support and conduct bedside and clinic ultrasound procedures. Provide pediatric care in a clinic setting. Perform chronic disease management, wellness exams, preventive care, and in-office procedures. Additional Information Board Certifications: Family Medicine Obstetrics Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) EMR: Cerner Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient setting, including Clinic and Call Call Schedule: Out of house call; multiple shift blocks available, including weeknight and weekend call. Patient Volume: Approximately 20 – 22 deliveries per month expected.
