Overture is evolving its People & Culture function under the leadership of its Chief People Officer (CPO) to better support the organization’s future. With that, Overture is seeking to hire a Senior HR Business Partner (Sr. HRBP). This role is central to shaping a modern, strategic HR function that connects strategy, culture and execution across the organization. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Sr. HRBP will lead core HR functions while also contributing to strategic initiatives and organizational planning. This is an ideal opportunity for a senior HR professional who thrives in a hands-on, high-impact environment and is excited to help build, influence, and elevate HR practices within a mission-driven organization.Strategic Partnership & Organizational EffectivenessPartner with senior leaders to understand business needs and translate them into people strategiesSupport organizational design, workforce planning, and change initiativesServe as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships across all levels of the organizationEmployee Relations & Leadership CoachingLead employee relations efforts including conflict resolution, investigations, and performance concernsProvide coaching and guidance to leaders on feedback, accountability, and team dynamicsEnsure consistent, fair, and values-aligned people practicesPerformance & Talent ManagementFacilitate and evolve performance management processes (goal setting, reviews, development plans)Support talent management and succession planning effortsPartner with leaders to strengthen bench strength and internal mobilityCulture, Engagement & InclusionDesign and implement programs that enhance employee engagement, retention, and developmentPartner closely with the Director of Equity & Innovation to embed inclusive practices across the employee lifecycleHelp operationalize Overture’s cultural beliefs and evolving workplace experienceHR Programs, Data & SystemsLeverage HR data and analytics to identify trends and inform decision-makingSupport optimization and utilization of Paylocity HRIS for reporting and insightsPartner with HR Operations to continuously improve processes and programsAdditional ExposureProvide support on compensation and benefits programsCollaborate on labor union-related mattersPartner with CPO to contribute to ongoing HR transformation initiativesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field5+ years of progressively more responsible HR experience, preferably in an HRBP capacityStrong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practicesSuccess developing and implementing HR programsExperience in a complex or evolving organization (nonprofit or mission-driven a plus)Experience supporting organizational change or HR transformationFamiliarity with HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred) and HR analyticsKey CompetenciesStrategic & Operational Balance – thinks big while executing effectivelyBusiness Acumen – understands how people strategies impact organizational outcomesRelationship Builder – collaborates effectively across all levelsCultural Competence – demonstrates a strong commitment to inclusion, access, and belongingChange Agility – thrives in evolving environments and helps others navigate changeCuriosity & Humility – brings a learning mindset and collaborative approach
