Description:

The candidate reports to the CIO Services Task lead and manages a technical team embedded in a US Government partner site. This position leads data architecture and engineering, records management, knowledge management, and data science initiatives. This role is a hybrid between an individual contributor, leading implementation by example, and the administrative oversight of 10-20 engineers – this position works collaboratively with project management teams for requirements prioritization and reporting.

Clearance Level Required: Top Secret + SCI Eligible

Required Skills/Credentials:

• Be a US Citizen who actively holds a security clearance at the TS (Top Secret) clearance level or higher
• Bachelors degree in one of the following: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Math, or Physics
• Minimum five years of post-graduate professional experience
• Minimum of one year of experience in the last three years leading and supervising teams
• Minimum of three years' experience in the last ten years with the building, operating, securing, defending, and extending network infrastructure
• Minimum of two years' experience in the last seven years leading and supervising personnel developing and implementing "data lakes" and other aspects of modern data strategies
• Experience as a data scientist, data engineer, or related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Certification compliant with DoD 8570 IAT II (e.g., Security+)

Desirable Skills/Credentials:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products for efficient communication, reporting, and presentation
• Experience managing services in Amazon Web Services and Azure
• Experience integrating Artificial Intelligence into daily workflows for process improvement
• Certifications in Amazon Web Services and Azure, architecture-focused preferred
• Certification compliant with DoD 8570 IAT III (e.g., CISSP)

Salary and other Compensation:

The hourly wage range is: $48.08 - $108.17
