Operations Manager - Miami, FL (Smoke Shop Industry)

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to work directly alongside company leadership and eventually take ownership of day-to-day business operations. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on accountability, execution, process improvement, and team leadership. The right candidate will initially shadow ownership to learn the business, then become the operational backbone of the organization—allowing leadership to focus on growth, partnerships, and strategic initiatives. Location: Miami, FL (In-Office) Responsibilities Oversee daily operations across supply chain, purchasing, inventory, fulfillment, and logistics Manage and hold teams accountable to performance metrics and KPIs Improve operational efficiency through SOP development, implementation, and enforcement Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, warehouses, and service providers Monitor inventory levels, purchasing cycles, and fulfillment performance Support finance-related workflows including purchasing approvals, vendor payments, and operational reporting Work closely with sales leadership to ensure operational alignment and execution Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions as the business grows Drive accountability, communication, and continuous improvement across departments Required Qualifications 3–5+ years of experience owning operations functions (not solely supporting operations) Proven experience managing teams and driving accountability Strong understanding of inventory management, purchasing, fulfillment, and vendor relations Experience working with CRM, ERP, or other operational management systems Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes with minimal oversight Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in CPG, wholesale, distribution, manufacturing, or other product-based businesses Experience working in multi-entity organizations Familiarity with regulated industries Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus What We're Looking For This is not a coordinator or administrative support role.
