Title: RN MS/Tele

Location: Odessa, TX

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Night – 4x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN License
• Current BLS Certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• Minimum 2 years of MS/Telemetry experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Must be willing to float to other Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units as needed
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations accepted)
• COVID-19 vaccine not required

Description:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Observation Unit.
• Assess, monitor, and manage patients with acute medical and telemetry needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and patient education according to physician orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly respond to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float to other Med/Surg/Telemetry units based on staffing needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
